At the beginning of senior year i set out with a goal to throw Shot put 40 feet or above at the end of the year. Today that goal was ended. I never did reach 40 feet but i got darn close with 39 feet and 8 inches. Shotput, the big heavy ball, was my main love in the sport. While i was never the best at it, i always gave it my all. I gained over 12 feet from freshman year to senior year. I said goodbye to the sport that loved me when i didn’t love it back. Track and field pushed me to be the man I am today. It taught me that things in life come with patience and hard work. My coaches always preached that if the small things weren’t done right then you’ll never see the results you want to see. To all my coaches, friends, and family, thank you for believing in me when i didn’t believe in myself. Thank you God for the opportunity to meet all the friends i met and for the opportunity of a participating in a sport that changed my life.

Guatemala ‘26 🇬🇹

What a blessing it was to serve the people of Guatemala. This trip truly opened my eyes to the fact that God is everywhere, not just with you or in your home country but EVERYWHERE!!! As this was my first ever mission trip i didn’t know how much of a blessing it was to be the hands and feet of Christ in a foreign country. Serving in the villages and sharing the Gospel was truly a blessing itself. From growing friendships within the youth group to making friendships at the orphanage, Guatemala will forever hold a special place in my heart.

Springville Football, thank you. Thank you for all of the life lessons and friends you’ve brought me through the years. Through success and through failure it was great to be around the guys i can forever call brothers. These teams will forever hold a special place in my heart.
