Out today: The Witch Trials 🖤

A requiem for the accused, in one of the darkest chapters of British history.

@kantoschoir and @ellie.slorach intersperse spoken testimonies from the Pendle trials with music across four centuries, including spellbinding new music by @anna.thecomposer @rorywainwrightjohnston and @thecamdenreeves.

Thank you @prestomusiccom for including this in today’s recommended releases 🙏🏻🙏🏻

@danielpetersilcock and I are very much looking forward to returning to perform ‘Lo Spirito’ by @fabiodandreaofficial at the ‘Justice for all,’ series at the Old Bailey next week.

The series was masterminded by The Sheriff of London, Robert Hughes-Penney and his wonderful team.

Earlier in the year Daniel and I were privileged to be invited to perform at the ‘Justice for Victims and Survivors,’ conference day held at the Royal Courts of Justice in London, where I spoke about feeling called to produce an opera, ‘Slave,’ on modern slavery and trafficking. The series has focused on different aspects of the UK justice system throughout the year. This culminates in the book launch next week.

(The photo is taken during a filming session for the video of ‘Lo Spirito,’ to be released next year on @delphian_records.)

It’s been a while since I shared some squares! I recently spent a long weekend following @lucinemusaelian and @nathangiorgetti (the two-halves of @intesa_duo) around Venice making some work for their upcoming album “The Voices of San Lazzaro” including a few tasty videos

Honestly couldn’t have asked for a more creatively invigorating experience with two unique and grounded talents such as these two
