I present the Fender Mender Fresh Hop IPA made with @colemanagriculture Chinook fresh hops. We picked up the fresh hops from the Alluvial Coleman farm around 9am, got in a fender bender/radiator crusher in Salem, and ended up brewing with these in Oregon city around 9pm 😂. Not what I planned for but everyone involved was fine and we got the car back quick from the shop like nothing ever happened. I used a WC water profile, hop backed ~ 3lbs of those freshies, and dry hopped a big charge with @yakimavalleyhops Riwaka, Nelson, and HBC 522. It came out... interesting 😂. I would describe it as hot and dry lol. Still a crispy boi and very perceptibly hoppy just not a lot of fun fresh hop or dankness. Learning as I go and having an amazing time with it.
