Yesterday's stableford was tough in the wind and rain.

I drove the ball badly but managed to recover well and came away with 34 points.

Handicap cut to 14.1

Not quite the season I had hoped this year so far, but in the last few weeks I feel like the hard work is starting to pay off.

39 points in yesterday's stableford means a handicap cut to 14.6, a step in the right direction.

I feel like I am losing most shots with driving accuracy, and that's definitely something to work on.

I am starting my winter coaching with @johnbarclaygolf next week, ready for next season.

$New irons in the bag for tomorrow's September stableford. My old Taylormade P770's have retired after 7 years in the bag. Hopefully the new ones will be a touch more forgiving and a fraction longer #srixongolf #srixonzx5 #srixon #srixonzx5mk2 #golfirons #golf #golfhandicap #golfclub #taylormade by @benslingergolf$
