Symbio Genesis

The concept for this series was inspired by a text by Mouna Ben Taher:

“Nothing was lost; everything was buried deep within the soul, waiting for something that, by stirring the heart, would give the mind the order to release the memories buried in the dark depths of memory.”

“Rien n’était perdu, tout était enfoui dans les profondeurs de l’âme attendant quelque chose, qui , venant remuer le coeur donna l’ordre à l’esprit de libérer les souvenirs ensevelis dans les gouffres sombres de la mémoire.”

Through this series, I explore what animal or human life represents through the soul, the heart, and the body.
The idea is to separate these three dimensions and then bring them back together into a single entity, like a modular sculpture, where each element exists independently while contributing to the same whole.
Here the full collection of visuals I’ve worked on, along with a few videos of the project:

First draft for Symbiogenesis—less modular, and in a way, more anthropomorphic and mythological.

The idea was to imagine a tool capable of separating these three dimensions

First test in @sidefxhoudini —what a joy to play around with this procedural approach.

The entire process and concept come directly from the work of the brilliant @serjan.biogenic ; I can’t wait to push the boundaries of organic forms with this software...
