Important info below 👇 I have been asked many times to explain how I use masking film, so to help demystify this magical material I have put together a quick video of the process. I personally like to use a brand called Art Mask, which can be purchased on Amazon in a 10 yard roll. Masking film is sticky enough to stay in place but peels off without damaging your paper or leaving anything behind. As long as you store it in a dark cool place it should last you months, possibly centuries if you're some sort of wizard or vampire. Speaking of vampires, you'll want to avoid storing it in direct sunlight as the glue can melt becoming tacky making it difficult to use and leaving a sticky residue on your work. If you're wondering what paint I prefer, I like to use Golden High Flow fluid paint. It's designed to be flicked, sprayed, and splattered. This is the same type of paint used in Posca pens. You can water down acrylic paint as well, but this is a trial and error process getting the ratio just right. I hope you found this video helpful or at least in some mild way satisfying. Thanks for watching! 👾👾👾👾👾👾👾👾👾👾 ▫️ ▫️ ▫️ 🚀 by @benson.ink

Doppelganger/Spider-Man Here's a really fun grey scale commission I recently completed! If you grew up in the 90s you probably remember the awesomely disturbing Doppelganger. A character I'm glad I finally got an excuse to draw! And to go with it, a classic Spidey portrait in pencil. Let me know in the comments what you think! by @benson.ink
