I've got a belting show for you next week on The Creative Condition podcast.

Within seconds, Rachael Renae was leaning into her camera, loving that I had a Dennis Rodman T-shirt on. That was it; we were off and running.

Rachael trained and worked as an engineer for the classic reasons an artist might compromise, before finding a really interesting route into playing for a living.

Her book 'Prioritise Play' tells the story and helps you do what it says in the title.

She had such a wonderful energy and I think this one is very timely. We're all so busy in our lives, and it's expensive to be alive, so hopefully you'll get a lot from Rachael's story. I know I did, and not just the Rodman compliment.

What's new?

Proud to hear @dirtyfreud on @bbc6music
with his new cracker of a tune, used on this post. All those years spent dreaming on our Manchester couch... a grafter and a big thinker unafraid to break trends.

@radim.malinic became a 3-time guest on @creativecondition_ podcast as we discussed 'Daring' in creative lives on episode 316. The topic in his book - about the human condition - were pivotal in learning to manage a fast-paced brain that led me into some mental challenges. Episodes 119 and 222 for his previous.

@positivenewsuk mag arrived in the post - always a tonic and a reminder we are allowed to feel cautiously optimistic despite the noise to the contrary.

@_murugiah and I recorded another podcast as his stunning show 'Ever Feel Like...' ended at the @qbcentre for illustration and we were joined in conversation by @itsjoeyyu and @gregbunbury thanks to @thebigdraw

And I'm in deep writing fiction. 'Miserable Old Twats' is coming alomg well, a natural cousin to YA MUM.
