Sitting back in this obnoxious Adelaide weather with anxiety to surf due to shear frigid waters, icecream headaches and algae blooms and the potential to cloud my Indo mems. Knuckling down designing, hanging out with my family and our new baby Rune and a relentless schedule of kids sport has me sidetracked for the short term. One thing is always on the back of my mind…the treasure island bowl. I can’t explain how keen I am to get back here as soon as humanly possible

Trip of a life time with ten of my homies onboard the marvellous vessel Seriti @prayacharters exploring the Northern Ments to the Banyak Islands and all waves between. Safe to say we scored some incredible waves, caught some yummy fish & had a f::k load of laughs

Biggest.Yet 〰️

This is a project that I underestimated how much time and effort it would consume, how many hands it would rely on and how many artisans to meander over.

So many decisions, late nights, sleepless nights, weekends, delays, risk, expenses, experiences, disagreements, achievements, delights, insights, exhaustion but fuck it’s feels nice

Im beyond proud of what we have created and look forward to sharing our stories, meeting our new neighbours and ultimately enjoying our new home, this is a special one!

Designing spaces, homes and places for people everyday is an absolute privilege @ply_architecture. It’s always a reality check walking into a finished project and an overwhelming sense of the unobtainable occurs as you have experiences a clients journey, risk and expense. The dream to design your own home one day slides to back of the pile, but never did I think I could and would live in my own so early in our life. Even better create two more homes for some lucky people to enjoy and experience

Many thanks to everyone involved directly, indirectly and looking forward to what’s next @gd.neighbour
