It was a crazy, fun and fulfilling weekend. Painted the @ffdaindy trailer during the #subsurface2024 viewing party. Then I painted a panel that was just pure fun. Did my cartoon style on the trailer then pushed some funky straight letters and winged this #chappie style character on the fly from a photograph. I’m exhausted but I had a great time, lots of really great people came out. The productions were sick as usual. Thank you @invisible_hometown for the opportunity and as always, thank you @lucianagape_ for holding my spot at our production wall. #subsurface #subsurface2024 #subsurfaceindy #indygraffiti #murals #indymurals #fountainsquareindy #fountainsquare #flamepaint #dangpaint #beltonmolotow #art #indyart by @bentley_murals

My most recent showing, at @phoenixtheatreindy . Cool space, great aesthetics, these striped concrete walls are such a cool look for a gallery space. The show “The Power of Protest” will be up until 9/13, to coincide with the running of “Everybody’s Favorite Mothers” I think the Phoenix did a great job curating and hanging the pieces. I’m very grateful for the opportunity to finally hang here, hopefully this is the start of a long relationship. #indyart #bentleyart #protestart #galleryart #fineart by @bentley_murals

Very honored to be apart of this project. Cottage Home is a great area where I already have the honor of being a teacher. And now I get to look out my classroom window everyday and see the product of great community organizing and my own artistic fulfillment. This project was easily 6 months in the making, all for one weekend max dash to the finish line. I had a great team of volunteers from the community as well as some of my own colleagues, couldn’t have done it without them. #indymurals #bentleymurals #indianapolis #fromhere4indy #cottagehome by @bentley_murals

My latest work on behalf of @brooksideneighborsindy and @artscouncilindy . I wanted to show the diversity of my neighborhood, where you’re sure to meet some colorful characters 🙃. These two colorful characters, identified by name tags reading “neighbor” face north and south, at the southern edge of Brookside on 10th street. The one facing North into the neighborhood is holding up the heart sign with her hands, showing love to her neighbors. The other facing South, is holding up a peace sign saying goodbye to all as they leave Brookside, crossing 10th street. #Indymurals #brookside #bentleymurals #neighbors by @bentley_murals

Haven’t done one of these in awhile. Been trying to lock in on painting, but juggling with teaching is hard. Plus I’m designing for some upcoming mural projects. Here are my 3 latest pieces, all with working titles. 1. “Tree of Death” 2. “Heat Wave” 3. “Last Straw.” … Enjoy. #bentleyart #galleryart #indianapolisart #fromhere4indy #art by @bentley_murals

This is obviously just for fun and out of skills building boredom. This is not my original artwork, but a homage to one of my favorite anime genres, Mobile Suit Gundam. I’m an elementary school art teacher, and I run a pretty pro anime classroom. My students are constantly asking me to draw anime and teach them how to draw anime. And I’ve been schooling them on the social currency that we used to trade in, when I was in school. I actually grew up without cable, so learning to draw anime was the first way that I got interested in it. Once I had my own money, I eventually spent more money on the anime section at Sam Goody, then I probably ever would’ve spent on a cable subscription. Enjoy this #gundamunicorn drawing I did over the course of a school week along side my working students. Just in time to teach 3rd how to layer colored pencil to make colors.

Beyond excited to announce the official installation of my new sign!

Thank you to @jeromedelbridge who air knifed holes to avoid damaging roots and provided the beautiful black locust posts.
Thank you to Caleb with Prima Construction for setting the posts and meticulously installing the signs.
Thank you to @kibiorg for a Little Big Grant to cover majority of the costs.
Thank you to @bentley_murals for the beautiful sign itself. Super excited to have used a local Near Eastside BrooksidePkwySDr artist!!
And thank you to @rachetjamesdolan for the idea and spearheading it all.

Stop by and take a look, it's stunning!!! taken in Springdale, Indianapolis by @bentley_murals
