LUNCH AT BENTOVILLE. More ways to enjoy Japanese flavor than ever before.

Walk in hungry, no reservation needed, on Tuesday through Saturday, 11 a.m.–2 p.m., with a full lineup of Japanese lunch favorites. A few are only around for a limited time, so savor while you can.

Golden curry, crisp katsu, and finely shredded cabbage — a comforting classic with mild spice sent straight from Japan. On the counter for lunch only, Tuesday–Saturday.

Crisp nori, cool fish, and perfectly seasoned rice, hand-assembled right at the counter. A lunchtime specialty, formatted for midday and gone by 2 p.m.

Sushi, karaage, gyodon – you name it. Each bento box is chef developed and boxed to-go, proving a quick lunch doesn’t have to sacrifice deliciousness. Available everyday starting at 11am.

Meet negima: chicken thigh and scallion, threaded onto one skewer. Negi means green onion and ma means between, which is where the scallion sits.

Each skewer is glazed with rare, a handmade sauce of soy, mirin, sake, and sugar that carmelaizes into a sticky, smoky, sweet-salty coat. Negima is served with a squeeze of lemon to keep every bite bright.

Since 1985, Ippudo has been spreading smiles and arigato around the world, one bowl at a time. We’re proud to be a part of that story here in Northwest Arkansas, and grateful to the Ippudo team for trusting us to share their tonkotsu with our community.

Ippudo turns 41 this week, and to celebrate, more than 300 Ippudo locations around the world are serving the same anniversary bowl to celebrate the anniversary. Bentoville is the first to offer it. 🍜

Meguru chicken paitan is creamy chicken broth with browned-butter chicken oil, basil oil, a chicken meatball, red onion, and lemon, paired with a tandoori chicken rice bowl. The set is $19.85, a thank-you nod to 1985, the year Ippudo was founded.

We were lucky enough to get our hands on a few Crown Melons from Shizuoka, Japan, for a private event this week.

Each one is grown in a greenhouse where farmers cut every vine back to a single melon so all of the plant's energy goes into it. After about 100 days of close care, each melon is graded by hand on its shape, netting, and sweetness. That's where the fine, even net on the rind and the T-shaped stem come from. Each bite is soft, juicy, with a mellow-honey sweetness, and they make for the perfect dessert.

Getting fruit like this to the Ozarks takes some doing, and we're grateful we got to share it with our guests. by @bentoville.nwa

Chef Brian Shin wants to serve more Korean dishes than two dinners can hold, so he’d added a lunch! For on day only, Brian brings gukbap – a rustic Korean soup and rice dish – served as a lunch set with salad, house made side dishes, and accoutrements.

Our new sushi handroll menu is our favorite yet. Each handroll is made right before you eat it, which keeps the seaweed perfectly crispy.

For the best experience, we recommend 3-5 handrolls per person depending on how hungry you are. And sometimes, more really is better. by @bentoville.nwa
