This is my story…

On 12/21/21, I was nearly just another statistic. In 2021, suicide was the second leading cause of death for people ages 20-34. Today, I have the opportunity to show others fighting a similar battle I fought that there is light at the end of the tunnel. Just because you are hopeless, doesn’t mean it’s over. Change, Healing, and Recovery are all possible. Hope can be restored. If you are struggling - know that you are loved, you are worth it, please never give up. The world is truly a better place with you in it.

I will be running the 2024 @chimarathon, benefiting the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.

Thank you to @everett.smulders for his coaching and friendship. And, thank you @afspillinois for giving me the opportunity to run in this iconic race. Link to donate is in my bio.

I am extremely grateful for the overwhelming love and support from those around me. You are my why!!
