Today you would have been 44, it’s strange how time passes so quickly, yet the pain of losing you is so slow to heal. I don’t believe it ever will but, i do know one thing, i have no choice but to live with it, to move forward.Most days I don’t know what to do with all of this anguish. Losing a sibling to domestic/gun violence is just a different kind of hurt, it haunts me.All I can do is be reminded of who you were as a person, and keep it close to my heart, so I can continue to get up every morning and be a functional human being. For a long time I gave up on my dreams of music, because music didn’t sound as sweet without you and your encouragement. I gave up on a lot of stuff in my life, my world was completely destroyed. There is a bond between siblings that drives each other to be the best we can be, and that bond completely shattered.Eventually I realized a hard truth, even if you weren’t physically here, our bond, although a little dimmer was still inside of me. Today I’m in 3 bands, constantly busy, and creating. It’s all for you. I can’t do any of this without you occupying my heart and mind echoing the same drive you had to be the best version of yourself.I love you sisHappy Birthday ❤️ by @benyazoid

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my BESTIE, @amchornetgirl I met Leia at @jarflybrewing back around 2016 or 17, I was working and they had just played a show. I was ecstatic because I’ve been a fan of @vibrolas since I was a teenager, but never got the opportunity to go see them back then and, it was finally my first time. When we met afterwards, we immediately clicked, we talked for hours, little did I know a few short years later (April of 2019), they’d ask me to be their drummer, after Andy decide to call it quits. I almost threw up I was so EXCITED! Over the years, I have been so thankful to become life long friends with Leila and Hoz, not only cruising the road playing music together. They’ve been there for me through some amazing up and some heart crushing downs. So here’s to Hornet Girl, I love you dearly, I hope all your wishes come true. Thank you for this lasting amazing friendship!
