The Philippines has so many hidden gems, shops and areas that I still have yet to visit but one that stuck out to me on my trip was @utopiacafecamiguin . Volcano views and some great coffee on Camiguin Island was definitely a highlight.

Also, getting the Spanish latte and beef nachos was a crazy choice but I don’t regret it. 🫶🏼 taken in Camiguin Island by @benzeruy

“First Day of School” with @benzeruy is out everywhere ✏️ I wrote this song over a year ago after strictly writing sad music. I tried to look into the past to get inspiration from a happier part of my life: when I was in school and before I became an adult with responsibilities 😂 School definitely wasn’t the easiest—I actually went to 8 different elementary schools across 2 countries and 3 states!! It was hard to making new friends, fitting into American culture as a Generation 1.5 kid with lots of insecurities, and keeping up academically in my strict household. But the idea of new school supplies, new classes, and going back to see the (few but close) friends of mine always kept me excited. I can’t go back to that innocent and (mostly) carefree part of my life anymore, but I hope this song can bring back some fond memories for you~ (Or, if you’re still a student, it can get you excited about seeing your crush again 😉)

Thank you to @benzeruy for bringing this song to life with me 🫶🏻
