As the summer comes to a close it feels like appropriate timing to see this absolutely beautiful print feature of our Longport project go live. Thank you to @traditionalhome & Sarah for your intimate interview and amazing storytelling. A few years ago we designed this stunning home for an incredible growing family with a talented & collaborative team. It is the home that truly founded Bergman Vass and gave way to creating this beautiful brand that we are so proud of. We are soon sharing the next big thing (😉 @asher_architects ) but we would be remiss to not celebrate this home and all it has given and continues to give us! Designers Dana Bergman Falcione and Erica Vassalotti of Bergman Vass discuss how they designed NFL player Joe Flacco’s daughter’s bedroom. As the only girl among five children, the bedroom needed to balance a girly sweetness with her tom boy edge. Bergman Vass employed a pale pink houndstooth carpet by STARK to achieve this.   STARK invites designers to join us On the 11th Floor of New York’s iconic D&D Building to share their design process, inspiration, and how they approach rugs. Featured project imagery was taken by Brian Wetzel.   #starkcarpet #onthe11thfloor #bergmanvass #interiordesigners #joeflacco by @bergmanvass
Soft Contrast. James @livingetc reached out when he came across this room of ours and found it perfectly represented an article he was writing on soft contrast. His questions were thought provoking and had me dive deeper into understanding our own creative process when working with color and texture. Loved being a part of this one! by @bergmanvass
On the latest episode of Ask Us Anything—an extension of Trade Tales—interior designer Erica Vassalotti of Philadelphia-based design firm @bergmanvass shares tips on the value in teaming up with your photographer to strategize about media coverage, how usage rights are akin to art commissions, and why it’s important to also represent clients in a photo shoot. 🖼️: A collection of projects by Bergman Vass 📸: Courtesy of Bergman Vass by @bergmanvass
