present in the build-up, alive in the drop

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I spend 5 days a week behind a desk. But the version of me that feels most alive is standing in a crowd somewhere, watching a DJ take a room from 0 to euphoria.

I've caught countless festivals and DJ sets so far, and I am not planning on stopping - every time it's the same thing; for those few hours, nothing else exists. No inbox, no deadlines, no version of me that has anywhere else to be

Just sound, the people I love being with, and a crowd that somehow feels like one thing.

Somewhere along the way I started paying attention to how that feeling actually gets built, set by set - what makes one style hit different from another

This account is me documenting all of it - the festivals, the DJs, and the process of a corporate person who keeps chasing that feeling.

If that's your world too, stick around.. by @berk.thirdplace

Daily pressure and outside noise have completely dissolved. This build-up is a mind reset button.

There was a stretch where I put the phone away and could not shoot. That's the part I'll remember.
