Speed Jazz out now on Soul Quest Records. Always cooking.

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Had my hands full lately so very late posting this but a couple weeks ago I had my debut on @oxigenio.fm, delivering a guest mix for the fabulous @sherivari on her Fruto Proibido show. I listen to Oxigenio daily and even found @soulquestrecords through it which led to me releasing an EP with them and featuring on their Maintain Altitude Vol 2 release, which subsequently Oxigenio featured on their essenciais series which then led to the guest mix - a real full circle moment.

I decided to feature a lot of my own music, woven around influences old and new. Hope you like it! Link in the bio by @berkeley__hunt

My guest mix for @dontadmitdefeat on @swu.fm is now available in all the usual places, including my bio. It comes Ginger-approved. If you don’t listen to it she will stare at you in her turtleneck until you do. by @berkeley__hunt

Had the pleasure of doing a guest mix for @dontadmitdefeat!

Klaud hit me up last year and coincidentally was playing in Lisbon that weekend. We linked up and it was like reconnecting with an old friend, and I ended up out til 7am (a rarity these days!) seeing Prosumer at Lux.

The mix is mainly pushing towards 140 and is a pretty good representation of where my head is right now when donning my more club-leaning hat including some unreleased music from myself and @boobyjamess. You can catch it on @swu.fm this afternoon. Hopefully the first collab of many!

My good friend @boanoiteafonso asked me to remix his project Música para um Crematório. It was my first remix so I wasn’t sure how it would go, but listening to the source material, my ears pricked up at the beautiful prepared piano and the track came together very naturally in just a few days. It’s minimal and haunting. Hope you like it! by @berkeley__hunt

I caught up with @nightclubber_ro to discuss my latest project A Ghostly Tryst on @soulquestrecords, as well as my formative years, the importance of workflow, production tips, sampling, more new music and lots more.

Again shout to @oxigenio.fm, who were integral in my link up with @max_sinal and @soulquestrecords, @boddika to whom I owe a lot of my production knowledge, @beneditaleitao for the creative partnership (an integral part of my workflow), and @boanoiteafonso who commissioned my first remix!

Also I’m hilarious so well worth a read. Link in the bio 👀 taken in Vila do Bispo e Raposeira by @berkeley__hunt

I caught up with @dreamchimney to discuss records that influenced my sound. Some bangers in here (obviously) ranging from smokey Deep House joints to Sega Megadrive soundtracks.

My latest EP A Ghostly Tryst is out now! It’s centred around a story of falling in love with a ghost and the loss of innocence in the process. Sonically it’s a natural progression from my last EP towards more earthy tones, still laden with dusty samples.

Big thanks to @soulquestrecords for the support and putting it out, as always my creative partner @beneditaleitao for the collaborative storytelling, and @boddika for his continued mentorship and world-class mixing and engineering.

Feels great to put this out, we’ll be sharing some more content soon. In the meantime find it in all the usual places (plus my bio). by @berkeley__hunt
