Meet Berklee Rakett, a sophomore in high school and this year’s Student Council President! Outside of student council, Berklee is a dancer, cheerleader, and runner. She is apart of NHS and Beta as well. In her free time, she loves attending church and spending time with her friends and family. She is so excited to serve her school, make a difference, and help make this an amazing year for all of her fellow Comets! by @berklee.dances

16 years ago we could have never imagined the joy a tiny 6 pound little girl could bring us. She came into the world with her eyes wide open, and never looked back! She always refused to nap, which is fitting and prepared us for her busy, on-the-go lifestyle. She’s our first born daughter, the one who made us wish we had 10 more just like her. We prayed and prayed for a sibling for her, and when that happened we got to see her in one of her very best roles…big sister. She’s definitely our favorite girl, but she’s Bodie’s favorite person in the world. She builds tents and Legos with him, has dance parties, and really the list goes on and on. He’s already worried about her going to college and begs her not to go. I think we all feel the same. “Don’t leave us, Berk!” One day, we know she will though. This girl is made for big things. She makes everyone around her feel seen and loved. That’s real too. There isn’t a fake bone in her body. She talented, beautiful, and oh so forgiving and kind. I could take a page from her book. She’s fiercely protective of people she loves and always tries to do the right thing. I have seen her stand up for others many times, and I am so proud of her for that. I’ve always said God seems to put these hard situations in her lap, but I think that’s for a reason. You can do hard things, sweet girl. As wonderful as she is, she doesn’t even realize it at all. She’s humble, which is a wonderful quality…but I pray someday she sees just how wonderful she is.

I pray that over the years, God will keep working on her heart and showing her His plan for her. I know that whatever it is, she will step up and be amazing. She’s never been afraid to live boldly, and I admire that so much. She might be my tiny girl, but she’s my biggest inspiration. These past 16 years have been the best years of my life…truly.

Happy 16th Birthday to my best girl! You are my heart walking outside of my chest. You are my favorite girl to sing Taylor Swift songs with and the best travel partner. I pray only good things come your way this year. Happy Sweet 16…it’s been the sweetest 16 years. 🩷🩷 by @berklee.dances

My first year at Super Summer did not disappoint one bit! Being able to spend so much time with the Lord through my family groups and friends was such an amazing experience. I am so so so blessed to have seen the Him work in so many beautiful ways! I can’t wait for next year!

RECITAL ‘26 ✨💕

I can’t believe this dance season is almost over! It feels like yesterday I was taking pictures with everyone on the first day. I can’t put into words how blessed I am to have made so many memories with the most talented, kind, and God fearing girls! They helped me grow not only as a dancer, but as a Christian. Thank you so much to @kathrynhobbs, @_marliscott, @sarah_m9642, @keagan.capps, @beccanewman19, and @pennycapps for EVERYTHING!!! I am veryyyy thankful for yall and for how much you all believed in me! I don’t know where I’d be today without yall!
