POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

For those who missed it, the other night I had the chance to tell one of my favorite stories of my career so far! And seeing it recognized by ESPN was something I truly didn’t expect 🤍

UCF Knights softball’s beloved groundskeeper Alex Enos grew up a Florida State Seminoles softball fan, admiring Devyn Flaherty so much that he and his wife Sarah named their daughter after her.

Stories like this are why I love what I do. So grateful I got to share this one. #heartfelt #espn #collegesoftball by @berkleigh_m

I had the absolute pleasure of shadowing Ms All American herself @jennytaft today!!!! It was an honor to watch this legend in action during the Ohio State vs Purdue game. She’s one of the best for a reason!! Jenny is such a light to the sports industry and treats everyone with kindness! I hope I can be half as successful as she is someday. The sweetest postgame interview with Younes Boudinar! They completely shut out one of their big rivals and kept that winning streak alive against them. Love these UCF boys! by @berkleigh_m

Two years. Two goals. One incredible comeback 🥹

After spending the last two seasons sidelined by injuries, Payton Patrick is finally back where she belongs …. on the pitch, alongside her UCF teammates. And this season, she’s already found the back of the net twice.
I had the absolute pleasure of standing on the sideline and watching Payton score her first goal back at home, and knowing everything it took for her to get to that moment made it that much more special.
But what stands out about Payton goes far beyond what she does on the field. She is an absolute joy to be around, carries her faith with so much pride, and is a beautiful example of perseverance, patience and trusting God’s timing.

As UCF heads into Big 12 conference play this week, this is a story I feel incredibly grateful to help tell. From two years on the sidelines to celebrating goals with her teammates again and what a journey it has been.

The comeback is already pretty special, Payton. And something tells me there’s a lot more still to come 🖤💛 by @berkleigh_m

She didn’t grow up in a soccer family.

She didn’t even start playing until she was 10.
And then… THIS happened ⚽️❤️

The same day I sat down with Bella Douglas, her family discovered the FIRST video they had ever seen of her late grandfather, a man Bella never had the chance to know.

And where was he?

At a soccer match in South Africa… shaking hands with the players on the field.

Bella had always thought soccer was something she found completely on her own.
Turns out, maybe soccer found HER 🌎⚽️

Sometimes the best sports stories have nothing to do with the final score. They’re about family. History. And the full-circle moments you never saw coming ❤️ by @berkleigh_m
