After traveling from one end of the country to the other with a small human + breastfeeding infant, I can confidently say that being a mother isn’t light work. And watching dad guide us everywhere, keep track of boarding passes, + haul all the luggage seemed like even crazier work lol.

Choosing the right partner matters. Super grateful for mine.

I made some cute cakes this weekend 🎶

1. Pistachio olive oil cake soaked in rose syrup with a cardamom + rose buttercream frosting.

2. Chocolate olive oil cake soaked in milk + coconut essence with a chocolate orange buttercream frosting.

3. Orange olive oil cake soaked in vanilla syrup with a vanilla whipped cream frosting.

4. A super adorable two week old 💙

Felt really good to get creative in the kitchen after having a baby & being in bed/resting for two weeks. by @berkzilla

Aurelius Sun William Guzman ☀️

My sweet baby joined us earth side in the late hours of Saturday night. I had an unmedicated, natural birth + I am so very humbled by it. In a moment of personal weakness + not having faith in myself, I totally asked for an epidural to make it easy. But God had other plans + that never happened + I’m thankful because I can do hard things!! Birthing my baby all natural + being fully present was truly one of the most intense experiences I have ever had + I am super proud + totally amazed (actually speechless) by what the human body is capable of. God really knew what He was doing when creating us.

I am so appreciative of the labor + delivery nurses that took care of me + baby. I am convinced they are the most exceptional humans, if not angels, that walk among us. The encouragement + genuine care I felt will not be forgotten.

And I am so beyond grateful that my partner + lover was by my side the entire time. You make me feel like a warrior queen. Congratulations on becoming a father. I love you today, tomorrow, + forever @isai249 💘 by @berkzilla

Another trip around the sun 💫

And I must say how truly grateful I am for this loving partner of mine who always goes above + beyond just to see me smile. Soul much gratitude to have found my person. Thank you for always seeing me + for always showing up in ways that I didn’t even know existed! I ended up getting very sick on my birthday + this man stayed by my side for the next six days, doing anything + everything in his power to make sure me + baby were okay. Words can never express how much I love you in this life + the next.

(The height of that guacamole thoooo!)

I’m super grateful for my health, having a safe place to lay my head every night, + for being chosen by the Most High as a vessel to bring other souls earthside.

Never take a second of your life for granted.
