We’re pleased to share our recent success at the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), who rejected an appeal filed by FC Dinamo City against our client FK Laçi, both from Albania, related to a FIFA training compensation entitlement for the player Albion Marku.

The dispute mainly concerned the debtor club’s training category, and the reliance of creditor clubs’ upon the information inserted by a federation in the FIFA-TMS.

Berlin Sports Consulting and FK Laçi have had a long-standing relationship, and we are delighted that Berlin Sports Law has now successfully represented the club before CAS.

✨ 10 years. One big family. ✨

Last week, we opened our doors in Berlin to the people who made it all happen — our friends, our families, and our clients, who feel more like family to us too.

Ten years ago, Berlin Sports Consulting started small, with a big dream. Today, looking around a room full of familiar faces, we understood something: the real milestone isn’t the 10 years. It’s you.

We shared stories from the early days. We laughed over good food. There were a few happy tears, and that warm feeling you get when a room is full of the right people.

To everyone who came to celebrate with us, and to everyone who’s been part of this journey from afar: thank you. Thank you for trusting us, supporting us, and becoming family.

BSC’s Rory O’Ferrall was in Sierra Leone last week, the first stop of a trip across West Africa.

It was great to spend time with our partners on the ground, visit local clubs and get an improved feel for the football scene. A particular highlight was catching up with our client Mohamed Kallon, owner of FC Kallon, as well as meeting with the Registrations Manager and Technical Director of the Sierra Leone Football Association to discuss ongoing projects.

⚖️ FIFA Football Tribunal’s Decision

The Players’ Status Chamber of the FIFA Football Tribunal decided in favor of Livingston FC (Scotland) against Queens Park Rangers (England), in a contractual dispute involving the transfer of the player Lyndon Dykes.

The case concerned the sell-on fee due following a subsequent transfer of the player.
FIFA confirmed that the clear and precise wording of the agreement prevails over any alleged intentions of the parties.

✅ Livingston FC’s position, defended by Berlin Sports Law and Consulting, succeeded.

We are pleased to have successfully represented Livingston FC in this matter before the FIFA Football Tribunal.
