There is a processing address in Sidcup that raises the blood pressure of any driver.
Yet on the second floor there is a museum with an annual theme.
This year it is 125 years since Fingerprints came into use, marking the beginning of Forensic Science. Lots of acid baths, arsenic, a plate used by the great train robbers, DNA, footprints and, obviously, fingerprints and earprints for added variety.
Dixon would never have made a museum curator, lost potential, fascinating display, unlabelled, pay attention to the "guide" badly reading from a script.
Could have been sooooool much better. What do you say @mpsheritage ?

Meanwhile, there is a Police Historic Vehicle Collection, I must visit. Sod PingPing, an opportunity to see a real Panda. 😁 taken in Metropolitan Police Museum by @bermondsybill

I'm reeling from a full frotal attack on my brain.
The Museum was a mindblowing collection of fascinating trivia from a noose to uniform and everything in between.
Followed by a visit inside HMP, no photos allowed, cells, condemned inmates and famous escapes. Blissfully quiet ad prisoners return to their cells to eat lunch. #londonhistorians taken in HMP Wandsworth by @bermondsybill

Phase 1 of #woodoverload at the weekend. It would appear the #worshipfulcompanyofcarpenters own most of #throgmorton and must have felled an equivalent sized forest of 18 different trees to build their current #liveryhall . Being quite specific on the 18.

Nothing like a relaxed lunch at #cafemurano with @her_hiraeth to celebrate her birthday and associated growing importance.

Food was equisite, apparently the Negroni too. Beer offer lacked lusture and main course wine matching not to ecpectation, others may differ.

Fascinating conversations amongst tgr best ever included fruit flie extermination alongside foot care. Ah! The delight of middle age.

As for sweets, children should not chew.

Admittedly, if you were not there then this post appears utter drivel.

Such is life.
