One of Zurich’s and Basel’s most popular cafés is now bringing its signature atmosphere, specialty coffee and beautiful food to the heart of Bern.

The avocado toast, burgers and matcha were our favourites - and they exceeded our expectations. Fresh, flavourful and beautifully presented, every dish was as good as it looked.

Definitely a place we’ll be coming back to. 🤍

For our special day, we decided to celebrate with cupcakes from @vanysbakery_ . 🍋🫐

There is something truly unique about desserts that are made by hand and created with genuine passion.

Handmade with love and attention to every detail, they not only looked beautiful but also tasted incredible.

Easter breakfast at Restaurant Rosengarten ✨

A slow, beautiful start to the day - soft morning light, the city waking up, and that iconic view over Bern that never gets old.

The breakfast itself is simple and classic, but the whole experience feels special because of the view. One of those places where you just want to pause, enjoy your coffee, and take it all in 🤍

A quick lunch @casino_bern today and such a beautiful experience overall ✨
Set in one of the most elegant spots in the city, the restaurant feels both refined and relaxed at the same time.

I had the planted pulled BBQ veggie burger - easily one of the best I’ve had so far. Rich, perfectly balanced and full of flavour in the best way.

Everything was seamlessly executed - from the atmosphere to the service, which was truly on point, attentive and very warm.

Already looking forward to coming back for dinner 🤍

This is not just coffee - it’s one of the most unique coffee concepts we’ve seen around Bern.

Sweet Spot Coffee is focused on roasting and sales on internet, but every Friday from 09:00 to 12:00 they open their space for everyone. You can stop by, try their coffee and experience it in a very aesthetic, minimal workshop setting.

What makes them special: each coffee has its own personality and story.
Instead of just tasting notes, they created characters - like Lilly, Carlo, Sophie or Elias - turning coffee into something more emotional and relatable.

It’s not just about flavor, it’s about the feeling and the story behind your cup.

If you’re around Bern on a Friday morning, this is definitely worth a visit.

BOLLWÄRK - a place that instantly became a favorite 🤎

One of those spots where everything just works -
the vibe, the food, the people.
Also shoutout to @rodas.meh - he creates such a good atmosphere here.

The highlight - pinsa.
Really good. Light, crispy, perfectly baked.
The combination pistachio & honey - insane 🔥

And something we haven’t seen in Switzerland before -
drinks in cans 😍
Such a cool concept - and they really nailed it.

You can play around with the ingredients and adjust things the way you like.

They also have their own products - including their own honey 🍯.

They host different events, so definitely keep an eye on their page.

We came across Schroeter Kaffee and loved the calm atmosphere right away.

We stopped by quite late, so not many desserts were left - but this cheesecake was absolutely worth it 🤍
Perfect with a good coffee and a slow moment in the city.

We’ll be back earlier next time to try more ☕✨

VASA - a little Scandinavian spot in the heart of Bern.

We stopped by for lunch and loved the relaxed atmosphere and clean, minimal vibe.

We tried a selection of sandwiches and a fresh salad - simple ingredients, beautiful presentation and flavors that feel light yet satisfying. Everything is thoughtfully prepared and perfect for an easy, feel-good lunch.

A great place to slow down for a moment in the middle of the city. ✨

We discovered KAOS and instantly loved the atmosphere.
Beautiful interior, warm light and carefully chosen details create a space where you want to slow down and stay a little longer.

We stopped by for drinks and ordered some small bites — olives, fresh bread and hummus. Simple, but done with care and quality. Everything felt thoughtful and well balanced.

What we appreciated most was the personal approach. The team is genuinely welcoming, attentive and friendly, which makes the whole experience even better.

We’ll definitely be back to explore more of the menu. ✨

KUMO is one of those places where you instantly feel cozy and taken care of. Warm light, calm atmosphere and beautiful details make you want to slow down and enjoy the moment. 🤍 It feels effortless, calm and very welcoming.

We had ramen with shrimp and tender ribs with rice – comforting, flavorful and perfectly balanced. Everything tastes thoughtful and made with care. A place you’ll want to stay a little longer… and come back to. ✨
