I didn’t really give this a proper moment yesterday. It is still really hard to look at this picture and version of myself.
It was so hard to finally close the Seattle chapter just to have my house burn down as soon as I moved.
But you can’t ignore your past just because you don’t like it, or it will show up in the weirdest of ways in your present.
Im grateful this happened.
Im grateful I came here.
I am grateful that I learned about somatic work and how it helps with trauma.
I’m grateful I was poor enough again to qualify for a grant to go to college.
I am so grateful that I have learned about the magic of acupuncture and have a remote job I love.
There’s multiple ways to deal with things, and my younger versions didn’t make the best choices in that regard. They did their best with the tools available and made me who I am today though.

Now I can say I am glad I have stopped running long enough to learn to run for fun. ✌️ by @bernadette.space
