So thrilled to be able to host a gorgeous day of sewing, chats and sharing ideas with my sewing community! There are lots of past students of mine part of the group but we have new members joining all the time. How fab is @grainne.brereton blouse! Some of the group meet weekly in Portlaoise and Stradbally libraries and every two months or so I organise a full day of sewing, lunch and a space to meet like-minded people in @oldschoolhouseliving @berniestakeout ! We all sew whatever project we are working on and get inspiration from other sewists in the group! Its always a great day out and you go home bursting with ideas, learn about new places to source fabric, where to get nice patterns - all the things you love to chat about if you like sewing👗🪡🧵 If you can sew and would like to join our group, meet the ladies in the their weekly sewing get togethers in the libraries or find out more details please get in contact! I don't teach at any of these event but we do help eachother out! by @berniestakeout

What a beautiful morning to start my 1st Saturday Market @cillinhillmarket Kilkenny. Lots of parking, stalls inside and outside, all on ground level, runs from 9am - 2pm every Saturday.

Was delighted that my baked goods went down a treat looking forward to next Saturday already 🤗

🌿☕With a Heavy Heart I want to give A Huge Thank You ☕🌿

To everyone who has supported my little coffee trailer at the Ballykeffee Woods / Amphitheatre since May of this year – I just want to say from the bottom of my heart, thank you. 💛

This summer has been an amazing journey, meeting so many of you, sharing coffees, chats, and community moments. Unfortunately, with the season ending, and following the decision from Ballykeffee Committee & Kilkenny County Council I’ll no longer be trading here.

I’m so grateful for all the kindness, encouragement, and love you’ve shown me and my wee business.

But this is not the end. ✨
I believe Kilmanagh and our local areas deserve spaces that bring us together – and I promise I’ll find a way to keep that community spirit alive. 🌻

This is just the end of a chapter, not the story, see you in the next cup 🤍☕

Much love,
Bernie D 💕
