Yeah! I did it ๐Ÿ”š๐Ÿ๐Ÿšดโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ I want to express my sincere thanks and appreciation to every person who supported me throughout this 300km charity cycle from Dublin to Westport last weekend 8/9th May in aid of Daisy Lodge Cong. @cancerfundforchildren To everyone who, over the past few months, offered words of encouragement, best wishes, and constant support from day one right through to the finish line โ€” especially my dear cycling companion the great Johnny Concannon and especially to everyone who donated to this wonderful charity โ€” thank you. Your kindness and generosity are truly appreciated. ๐Ÿ’ž It was a fantastic experience overall, and we enjoyed every kilometre alongside great, like-minded fellow cyclists.๐Ÿšด ๐Ÿšดโ€โ™‚๏ธ A huge thank you to the organisers, who did a fantastic job throughout the two days โ€” from accommodation and food stops to luggage transfers and repair support. Everything was so well organised. ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ Special thanks to Anthony Murray and Cathal at Westport Bike Shop for ensuring my bike was fully serviced and roadworthy โ€” they are fantastic to deal with. @westportbikeshop Thank you also to every fellow member of Islandeady Cycling Club for the support and encouragement throughout, especially in the weeks leading up to the event and during the two days themselves. @islandeadycycling To the Fahy community โ€” especially the 25 card drive organisers and players, @fahyrovers and everyone at @smarties_childcare thank you for all your support and kindness throughout this journey. Because of everyoneโ€™s kindness and generosity, I have raised and donated over โ‚ฌ4,000 to @daisylodge4mayo Daisy Lodge Cong. This funding will go a long way in helping children and families in Co.
