The gap isn’t the technology. It’s governance — most teams are running agents with none of the basic controls they’d never skip for a human employee.

Five blind spots we see most often:

We’re training our team for how people work with AI.

A big thank you to Stanford University @stanford for the tools and frameworks behind this. They’ve given us a strong foundation to build on.

To be clear, we’re not an AI agency or an AI firm. But AI is changing how businesses make decisions, and we’d be doing our clients a disservice if we ignored it.

Most firms treat AI adoption as a software rollout. We see it as behavioral change. What decides whether AI works in a company is how people come to trust new tools, how they change their workflows, and how they make decisions alongside them.

That’s why at Bernklau & Company we’re combining structured AI training across our consulting and portfolio teams with industrial and organizational psychology. We’re applying it to how we bring AI into client work, and we’ll pass what we learn on to the founders and businesses we advise.

Better tools help most when the people using them have the right knowledge.
