• Wolverine : ‘97 costume •
• Last Marvel stuff in a while I promise 🤣 I did this when the first trailer of the new game came out but it was out of frustration from having such an ugly game for such an iconic character. So when I learned the game was actually hated, I wasn’t surprised •
• I just wanted to sculpt his head at first then it snowballed into having a full body then it felt wrong not to rig it •
• it was so spontaneous I made a lot of mistakes like his long ahh neck and some funky anatomy bits but it was fun to think of ways to integrate his claws into the rig •
• give me a shout if you want to try it but it’s at your own risk ⚠️🤣 •

• small behind the scenes of the shot. Nothing fancy but fun to come up with. Needed a few iterations of the speed blur fx and I have to make more but this will work for now •
• the idea for this came straight from the opening credits. A lot of elements of the vision I have for my own version of Batman beyond is taken and adapted from the intro •
• the look dev on the 5th slide was made by the talented @vahagramm in blender but since I decided to go back to Maya for this to have more options to setup my rig. I’m losing a lot of ways to add cool effects like the hologram bat symbol I want to have on his chest or even make the speed blur with geometry nodes instead but I wanted to prioritize the performance for future animations. Maybe I’ll go back to blender for some rendering •
• the next slide the concept art I drew and followed for this model. I already shared it but it’s good for me to remember what’s the final look I’m aiming for •
• and the last one was a version I worked on 6 years ago during the first lockdown. Yeah I really needed to get that out of my system at some point •

• final version of this short animation test for this Batman rig and speed blur I made •
• added some sound effects for more impact and because sound design is fun! And found a cool sci-fi corridor•
• I’m planning a 15seconds one that will hopefully be rendered with some environment I’m modeling myself and some extras I got from a cool artist online and that fits the vision I have •
• thanks to @vahagramm for the help on the look dev when I started on blender and thank to @yeskimikiki for the help on the shaders when Iwent back to Maya 😆 •
