I just finished reading my third book this year. While it is specific to one subject I am still counting the books I read per year. This is book #3 finished out of many others I have started (between 5-10 and the ones I have bought to start reading). I have a list of others I am going to move forward with on reading along with a few I want to read, I just bought three more this morning on Amazon, two of which will be arriving today 📚

The first book I finished this year, the second picture, is a small book, a kids level reading book.

The second book I finished this year, the third picture, is a book on daily practices to improve the brain. I would recommend it to anyone who is having trouble with anything related to their head or is curious to learn more about why some people struggle mentally or know of someone who is struggling or could potentially be struggling by @berraaddd

Gonna be building this new skateboard soon, I started to learn that there is a difference in the different skateboard parts and it affects how you skate on the skateboard, so I bought new parts. I’m gonna try the new parts and build the new whole skateboard then I will be getting rid of the old skateboard

The old skateboard is an Antihero Tony Trujillo deck size 8.75 w/ Independent hollow trucks size 159, Bones Swiss Bearings, Spitfire 85hd 56mm wheels and Spitfire 101 classics size 56mm, Independent hardware, Mob griptape, and Independent hard bushings

The new skateboard is also an Antihero Deck but a John Cardiel deck size 8.62 and is longer than a normal deck 32.3 length and 14.6 wheel base, Ace inverted kingpin trucks size 8.5”, Spitfire conical full 99 56mm wheels, Bronson Speed co bearings, and Mob griptape

I have to take it slow to get back into skateboarding but I think my progress will be quick, I built the old skateboard 8 years ago and I made decent progress with it. My goal this time is to be able to air and Ollie over hips and transitions, at some point then backside airs and backside Ollies, I’m not sure if I can get to that point skateboarding every now and then when I can, the skateboard is just a hobby, like a sport and for fun, I am working on making a good living

It’s kinda cool that the second skateboard I found with a shape that would help me feel comfortable is also an Anti Hero skateboard, it’s also cool that it’s a John Cardiel skateboard, I became a John Cardiel fan when I was about 14 or 15 years old, I met him without knowing who he was while I was riding fixed gear bikes with a group of friends. He asked me what we were up to while we were hanging out at a bike shop, we probably talked a little bit about the bike setups as well but at the time I felt confused about talking to a stranger while I was with my group of people, I found out who I had talked to after seeing him in a Chrome Bags YouTube video 😅😏 by @berraaddd

I cut some New York strip steaks for the first time myself today from a loin that I bought at Costco. Then I cooked the trimmings with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic, thyme, grass fed butter, and french fries, whole potatoes would have been better but I didn’t have any 🥩 by @berraaddd

Pizza after work 🔥

A customer paid for this pizza, he gave me a $21 tip and my co worker a $6 tip so we bought pizza, so lucky today was a day I did not bring a meal for lunch by @berraaddd
