Over the past seven years, South Sea Spray has transformed walls into landmarks, creating more than 150 public artworks throughout Murihiku Southland.

To celebrate this incredible journey, we’ve released a limited edition 224-page hardcover book featuring the murals, the artists behind them, behind-the-scenes moments, and the stories that brought each project to life.

This is more than a coffee table book—it’s a permanent record of a movement that has connected communities through art.

100% of the proceeds from every book sold go directly towards painting more public art across Southland. No profit. Just more murals, more opportunities for artists, and more colour in our communities.

ROAD TO FLARE is official. We have a national graf battle in Aotearoa across six cities featuring Christchurch, Dunedin, Invercargill, Wellington, Tauranga, and Auckland. The winner of each cities battle will proceed to the @chchhiphopsummit03 in November and the winner of the final battle will paint a wall for @flarestreetartfestival in 2027. Individual city battle dates to be announced very shortly with the first battle happening in Auckland on the 14th June at @corbanestate Full line up in the next slide.
