Pinnacle Peak is one of the best hikes I’ve been on. It’s a a moderate level hike (easy if you hike often) that’s stunning, especially if you’re a tourist visiting the area. Check it out for the workout, pictures, views, whichever fits your style honestly. Let me know how you liked it.

Took a guided boat tour here, and it proved an awesome way to see the skyline of Montréal. Some facts are that this waterfront pier welcomes over 300,000 visitors and more than 50,000 cruise passengers every year. Popular so it must be great right? It is!😭 ⚓️

Le Plateau-Mont-Royal (Café Olimpico and the mile end shopping area)
Taking a break at the legendary Olimpico. It’s been family run since 1970, when Italian immigrant Rocco Furfaro opened it so he and his friends could watch Italy’s national soccer team play. Hopefully Italy does them proud again in the World Cup soon 😭☕️

Gia Vin & Grill:
Dinner at Gia was house-made Pici ragú, focaccia bread, and a perfectly charred steak (a 10/10 experience). The restaurant is named after Giovanna, the owner of the Pacina wine estate in Tuscany, as a tribute to her cr by @bertfromburkina

Parents sometime want to run it back… as you. Whether they’re joking or not, it lands differently for everyone.

This is a simple reminder that we’re all doing the best we can with what we currently know and have (including your parents trying to potentially motivate you with that phrase). No one has the full details of your life, so don’t be so quick to give up that controller. Own your choices, and YOLO right?!

As I find myself dissecting more and more practices I grew up with, here’s one that many might relate to.

I grew up thinking unannounced visits are just an invasion of privacy, but they actually stem from deep cultural roots where community and togetherness meant everything.

While that spontaniety is becoming a lost art, it’s ultimately a beautiful reminder of love and connection. There’s nothing like watching your loved one face light up from the surprise of your visit!

In this age, some things have changed, and I’m a fan of finding the middle ground (a call if I’m in the neighborhood, before a visit).

To my people, you’re always welcome to mine as well, but a heads-up would be nice too though😅, for the sake of balance and just so I'm not halfway across the world when you arrive😭!
