Absolutely honoured to have been cast as Kevin Wrigley and appear in last night’s episode (4) of Call the Midwife, making my on screen debut performance for the BBC! I am so thankful for this opportunity to work alongside the incredible cast and crew on this phenomenal drama. I adored my on-screen parents Joel & Rachel and my family, including sisters Louise & Isla. 💫 I hope to have the opportunity to work with you all again at some point in the future.🤞Wow! I’m still pinching myself!!! All this would not have been possible if it wasn’t for my amazing agent, Judy and her wonderful chaperones - a big thank you, to you all, too! I was so well looked after on and off set. Food & drink were superb.⭐️ @callthemidwife.official @joelbeckett @louise_odowd @racheltucker01 @mollyvevers @gemly81 🫶🏼👏 #childactor #actor #onset #tv #period #drama #bbcone #bbc #actorslife #boy #bertie #bertiegeorgevenn #series14 #episode4 #sixscenes by @bertiegeorgev

Congratulations @bertiegeorgev! We are thrilled to celebrate Bertie’s wonderful achievement! At just 10 years old, Bertie has been awarded a Distinction in his LAMDA Grade 5 Solo Acting examination – an exceptional result for his age that reflects both his talent and dedication. (Equivalent to a GCSE.)

Preparing for a LAMDA exam requires confidence, creativity, commitment and strong communication skills, and Bertie impressed the examiner with his performance. We are incredibly proud of all the hard work he put into preparing for the exam and delighted to see it recognised with such a fantastic outcome.

Here is a snippet from the examiner’s feedback, which highlights just how well Bertie performed.

A huge thank you to his incredible teacher, Bee. 🫶🏼⭐️ by @bertiegeorgev

Thrilled to be selected out of over 4000 entries to reach the regional shortlist of the National Youth Monologue Competition! This is my first time entering and has no idea what to expect. I performed my cockney mudlark monologue, Albert In Service, and I feel so honoured to have got this far. Thank you to my absolutely fabulous LAMDA teacher and to the incredible team at @tadaauk for putting me forward. #instareels #childactor #monologue #regional #shortlist #competition #success #instareel #actorlife #cockney #stills #instaart #instadrama taken in Hampshire, UK, England by @bertiegeorgev

There's no feeling quite like the energy of an @nco_gb Orchestral Day! 🌊✨🎻

I'm still buzzing from an incredible weekend in Dorset at the Thomas Hardye School. We made unforgettable memories, learnt from each other and were mentored by music legends.

From playing awesome pieces like Under the Sea and Que Rico Mambo, to collaborating with Richard Shrewsbury on scoring music for BBC’s Blue Planet; every moment was a highlight. We told a story through music:

The Sharks 🦈: Forte dynamics created a slow, heavy, and scary tension.
The Chase 🌊: A crescendo built the intensity.
The Small Fish 🐠: Delicate piano and mezzopiano textures shimmered through the water.

Feedback from Tamsin Oldham and Anna Vaughan meant the world – praising my adaptability and attention to detail. I loved supporting my section and helping with counting rests, too.

Being selected as a conductor for our own score was a dream come true! 🎵⭐

Huge thanks to our teachers for helping us create moving music (and getting our parents to join in with a Mexican Wave!). The atmosphere was epic. 🪄🎻

Follow along for my musical creative arts journey! 🎶 #NCO #YoungMusician #ViolinLife #Conductor #ClassicalMusic taken in The Thomas Hardye School by @bertiegeorgev

Delighted to finally share that both myself and my violin made it into the final edit of Hijack Season 2 on Apple TV! 🎬🎻

Filming this back in July 2024 was such a highlight. A massive thank you to my incredible agent, chaperones, and the hardworking cast and crew who made the set feel like home.

Special thanks to the director, Jim, for being so wonderful to work with, and to the conductor for the kind words on my preparation—it means the world! 🎶✨
