What a way to finish our bike season with guests! These views.. what a reward after a long climb to the top, and arriving above a sea of clouds. Just wow!

Often touted 'the best trail in Val de Bagnes', we'd be tempted to agree - after all we ride it almost every Friday! It's got incredible views, diverse riding and is a great challenge! Oh, and it's really REALLY fun on the way down...

*format change - drop-ins now an option!†
Are you looking to get back into MTB'ing, or you feel like you have the basics but aren't sure where to go from here?

This is aimed at those who are already confident they can get down the bike park Green, but want to be comfortable riding the Blue and on natural trails outside the bike park.

We'll work on the list on the post and more! Every Saturday morning from June 11th for 6 consecutive weeks.

If you're looking at this post, you're a little more hardcore!
*Open to women and men this year!*

Maybe you rode the Red trail in the bikepark and thought 'I like it, but how are some people going so fast? And how can I be that quick?'

Or maybe you want to master endo-turns?

Or jumping?

Too scared to let go of the brakes?

Well, that's what these sessions are for - you can buy a bundle of 6, or you can buy sessions individually (minimum of 2 participants per session). Each week we'll work on different skills or techniques to better your riding, whether you want to go fast or you want to gain slow control, we've got it covered.

How long is your lunch break? Can you get a ride in?

Tested right here - if you're in Val de Bagnes - Vertigo goes! (If you're prepared to ride it without stopping... Including for photos!)

As an independent rider, I can say what I want about my bikes and component choices.

I did a couple of local laps before guiding season started to start getting the bike set up for myself. Thoughts?

Some bikes feel familiar straight out the box, this one is taking a little more time so I'm playing with:
- suspension setup - the bike feels a little uneven front to back
- stem length/bar/lever setup

It's not a plow machine, but it is fun! Do I love it? The jury is out currently.

Both welcoming my new steed and giving a send off to my Trek Slash - last photo I took while riding in Lenzerheide, she was stolen on the return journey.

So here you are; the new-to-me Scor 4060LT. This is a bit of a custom build with many inherited parts and many parts I chose specifically.

Spec list and highlights coming soon!

@jcrawford41 planned this 'little jaunt'... I've only ridden DOWN the valley before and @tilly_webster had no idea what was coming. All in the name of early-season training, hey?

Fuelled by bananas and coffee we made it 50km+ and with 1100m climbing done and a downhill sprint to follow, we all had jelly legs when we got to the final 100m climb back home!

A great day was had and I am hopefully slightly fitter as guiding season encroaches! by @bertlbikes

The transition from winter to spring sunshine and bike season starting is a special time for me...

...Watching the snow melt and the bike trails open, yet still squeezing in a snow adventure or two uplifts the heart and brings joy at the end of what can be a long, tiring winter season.

This year was especially hard for me, I was on the edge of being burnt out a lot, and had to push through with work. The end of April was healing, and May will only strengthen that!

Thanks to @agneshegger @wildernesswillie @katie_oggie & @gianlucaluccini for getting me through and back into having fun! by @bertlbikes

I had a great time shooting with @nyl_photo last autumn, he got this absolutely BANGER sequence of me cornering hard on the Tsopu trail here in #verbierbikepark

And what better use for it, as a coach, than to use it as a 'how to'?

If you have thoughts or questions - please don't hesitate to ask.
