A small childhood dream has come true.
Being able to travel abroad with our band and our own music is something I once only imagined.
Experiencing this together, meeting people along the way, and sharing the music in different places feels incredibly special. Very grateful for these moments 🥰

Een nieuw clubseizoen, een nieuwe reeks LASWERK in Bootstraat! 💥

Ook dit najaar gooien we muzikanten uit alle hoeken van de Belgische muziekscene samen in onze artistieke pressure cooker. Eén dag om elkaar te leren kennen, te experimenteren en samen iets te creëren dat ’s avonds voor het eerst én het laatst live te horen is.

Op vrijdag 23 oktober trappen we het nieuwe seizoen af met @lore_.borremans (Blue Robin), @mikkopablo, @jess.jj.jacob (Monagi) en onze vaste host @bertpeyffers (Ão).

Wat het wordt? Geen idee. En dat is precies de bedoeling.

Geen vaste setlist, geen vooraf uitgestippeld pad. Genres botsen, ideeën versmelten en muziek krijgt vorm in realtime.

Geen herhaling, geen herneming. Alleen klank, intuïtie en ontmoeting.

Een nieuw seizoen Elfurenmissen!

Na een volledig uitverkochte reeks openen we opnieuw de deuren van de Velinx voor vijf zondagochtenden vol woord, stilte en muziek. Vijf keer zoeken we samen naar het sacrale in het profane, met preken die schuren, stemmen die blijven hangen en muziek die antwoordt wanneer woorden even moeten bezinken. De tickets gaan vandaag in verkoop, dus wie mee binnen wil zijn, weet wat te doen. 🎟️ via link in bio

I suck at social media. But lately, there have been too many beautiful and meaningful moments with people and animals who mean a lot to me not to share them. So, recaps… here we go. 🫶

1. Playing a concert for the first time with my new Larrivée guitar. Maybe I was already thinking about the moment in photo 2 here 🐶

2. One of the sweetest animals on earth, belonging to a friend. Inti 💕

3. Trying out a small setup + fluorescent tape on my mat. Very ugly, but very efficient.

Last Tuesday at @lokersefeesten … ooof , you guys were so many! And sounded twice as loud for it. 🫣

We didn’t count exactly, but all four of us think this was the biggest crowd we’ve ever played for.

Wat een avond 🌙

We brachten SUNA ft. Adil Benhsain naar Museumnacht in het @RubenshuisQntwerpen. Het werd een avond vol arab jazz, elektronica, improvisatie én een dansvloer. Merci aan iedereen die mee luisterde, ontdekte, danste en bleef hangen.

En we blijven niet stilzitten. Op vrijdag 4 september keren we terug naar het Rubenshuis voor een nieuwe editie van The Cabinet Sessions. Dit keer brengen we Remy van Kesteren, Bert Peyffers en Boris Van Overschee samen voor een eenmalig muzikaal samenspel in de intieme setting van het Rubenshuis. Tickets via link in bio.

What a remarkable weekend 🤯🥳🎶

We had the honour of opening for @taminoamir at @slotzeistlive, then found ourselves drenched in sweat after an intense set at @northseajazz. During soundcheck, Zach from @beirutband casually stopped by to say hello, and we ended up exchanging vinyl records.

From there, we brought our warm, summery energy to @cactusfestival, only to return two days later for our second sold-out Cactus Club show @cactusmuziekcentrum . After Cactus, we headed back to Ghent, where we played what truly felt like the show of our lives at @gentjazz, before unwinding to the breathtaking music of Tamino.

And as if the weekend hadn't already given us enough to be grateful for, we also had the chance to meet one of our greatest musical inspirations: @maro and her incredible band.

Weekends like these remind us exactly why we do what we do. ❤️
