New music! Over the past few months, I’ve been deeply immersed in composing the music and crafting the sound design for 'Juno and Sensei', directed by @tom_geraa. ❤️🎥🎬 This project has been an amazing experience—exploring diverse musical genres, from orchestral music to EDM, blending them into a unified piece, and crafting sound design that complements the stunning visuals and amazing choreography. At @rabble_studios we reworked the familiar Pickwick jingle to sit naturally within the new music track, giving it a brighter, more energetic feel. NEW WORK! We really enjoyed getting stuck into the sound for ‘A Stranger’s House’, a short film directed by Choānn @choann_studio From our side at @rabble_studios, it was a chance to carve out this gritty, uneasy world and really play with perspective as the film gradually descends further into chaos. Eisenhower’s speech gave the piece a strong narrative spine, while around it we could build an increasingly fractured and uncertain sonic world, shifting between intimacy, scale, texture and impact as things unfold. A very rewarding one to shape from a sound design perspective! New work! Stella Artois x @thegentlemen (Netflix). A cinematic world of tailored suits, quiet power plays and very precise pours. For Stella Artois’ arrival into the universe of Netflix’s The Gentlemen. @rabble_studios we handled the audio across the campaign, from the hero film The Auction through to the five films built around Stella’s iconic pouring ritual. Our approach was to stay firmly inside the language of the series: detailed, restrained and cinematic, building tension through character, environment and carefully placed sound rather than pushing everything to the foreground.
