I'd never painted squirrels before so imagine my surprise when I was commissioned to do so! I so enjoyed painting this duo, I will be sad to say goodbye!

Just finished this large commission. This gorgeous knotted 4 ft plank was supplied by the client who requested 3 racoons, in reference to her 3 children. It took me two weekends to complete. The wood surface was not perfectly smooth so it was a bit of a challenge but I am happy with the rough rustic feel of the finished piece.

Just finished the last of my pet portraits! Its been a busy summer and it took me a while to get caught up. My next commission is a vintage garden statue that has been sitting patiently all summer. And after that I am taking on a very large racoon commission on the biggest tree slab Ive ever done!

Always trying to make sure I have a bluejay or two on hand as they are always popular at shows! This fellow will be available next Sunday at the Bancroft fly-in show!
