✨STORE CLOSING ANNOUNCEMENT ✨

After much thought, I have decided to shut down BKD Yarn Co. The past 3 years have been so much fun, but the time has come to wind down operations of my yarn shop and start a new chapter.

The good news for you is that everything is on clearance! Please help me empty my shelves while you stock up for the busy maker season and save money (win-win!). All yarn is 30% off and Indie Yarn is 20% off. Finished goods are 50% off.

A huge thanks to everyone who has supported my little shop over the years and for those who have reached out the past several days to check on me. I promise I am okay 😁, just moving in to a new chapter.

I know I usually carry mostly heavier weight yarns, but I had to finally add this Rios to the shop. It's such a versatile yarn, and the worsted weight makes it perfect to use for springtime garments and hats -cue springtime 🌱 annny day now, pretty please!

There is something so unmatched about the beauty of hand-dyed yarn 🧶. The subtle variations in colour make each stitch so special, and each project one of a kind. This is the beginning of a new shawl project that I am working on, and I chose Malabrigo Washted in Valentina. Can't wait to show the progress!

What an absolute joy to knit! The #suspirebeanie will be in my regular rotation of knits - I am obsessed with the texture! I used Knotted by Nish for this beanie, in one of her retired colourways, Meadow.
