Congratulations to Oskar Kleczkowski on being nominated this week’s Brother of the Week! Oskar is truly a one-of-a-kind member of our fraternity, always bringing his prototype-like self and unmatched energy into every room he enters. He consistently provides valuable input into the decisions our chapter makes and never hesitates to share his unique perspective. Oskar is a big believer in self-growth. He often compares life to building a house. Everyone starts with a straw house, but through hard work and perseverance, you can eventually build yourself into a brick mansion representing strength and courage. Much like the Three Little Pigs, Oskar knows you can’t settle for the house made of straw. You have to keep building until you’ve created something strong enough to withstand whatever life blows your way. Some may even call Oskar our “Golden Boy” because of the remarkable qualities he brings to our brotherhood. His positivity, character, and desire to see others succeed truly make everyone around him better and happier. Thank you, Oskar, for everything you bring to our fraternity. Keep building that brick house and making us proud! by @beta_stevens

To conclude our Summer 2026 Intern Spotlights, we’re catching up with both Kunal Antala and Joey Bodnar to hear about their experiences this summer. Here’s what they had to say:

𝐊𝐮𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐚:

“This summer, I had the incredible opportunity to join Coaction Specialty Insurance as a Data Analyst Intern!

During my 10 weeks at Coaction, I had the chance to make a real, tangible impact on their business. I built new semantic models that translate highly complex data into clear, easy-to-understand metrics for the business teams. I also helped modernize the company’s reporting systems in PowerBI by designing interactive, visual dashboards that allow different departments to easily track their goals and insights, and I evaluated older data systems to lay the groundwork for a massive company-wide software migration.

Beyond the technical deliverables, this internship gave me a deep dive into the insurance industry and showed me exactly how data drives real-world business decisions. Just as importantly, I built incredible connections along the way which truly made the experience unforgettable.”

𝐉𝐨𝐞𝐲 𝐁𝐨𝐝𝐧𝐚𝐫:

“This summer I worked as a Project Engineer Intern for Eastern Exterior Wall Systems in Allentown, PA.

Over 12 weeks, I went from learning how wall panels are delivered and manufactured, to building complete estimate and bid packages on multi-million dollar projects. I was able to do a little bit of everything involving the project management side of the company, including: takeoffs, submittals, engineering support, milestone schedules, and taking site visits out to cities like Philadelphia and Brooklyn. I was even able to help the company bring Artificial Intelligence into the workflow, building competitor ranking and market analysis tools for our President.

I’m leaving EEWS with a full picture of how the commercial construction industry works as a subcontractor and how projects can come to life.”

Thank you to Kunal and Joey for sharing their experiences. Keep up the great work! by @beta_stevens

For this week’s Intern Spotlight, we’re catching up with Chris Piazza to hear about his summer experience. Here’s what Chris has to share:

“This summer, I pursued my lifelong dream of becoming a Marine Corps Officer. I attended and completed Marine Officer Candidates School (OCS) for 10 weeks in Quantico, Virginia.

The mission of Officer Candidates School is to educate and train officer candidates in Marine Corps knowledge and skills within a controlled and challenging environment, while evaluating individuals on the leadership, moral, mental, and physical qualities required for commissioning as a Marine Corps officer.

I am currently on a guaranteed air contract and am on track, upon graduation from Stevens, to commission as a Second Lieutenant in the Marine Corps and begin my follow-on training at The Basic School.

This has been quite the journey and a dream of mine for as long as I can remember. I want to thank all of my brothers for giving me motivation and support throughout my ten weeks on Brown Field. I’m excited to come home to Hoboken.

Semper Fidelis!”

Great job, Chris! Keep up the hard work, and congratulations on an incredible accomplishment. by @beta_stevens

For this week’s Intern Spotlight, we’ll be hearing from George Pavis about his summer experience. Here’s what George has to say about his internship:

“This summer, I had the privilege of serving as a Merchandise Intern with the United States Golf Association at the 2026 U.S. Open at Shinnecock Hills in Southampton, New York. Arriving weeks before the championship gave me a unique perspective on the countless hours of preparation and behind-the-scenes work required to bring an event of this scale to life.

Throughout the tournament, I contributed to merchandise operations, inventory management, customer engagement while working alongside experienced professionals in a fast-paced environment and even got to meet some of the players.

This experience strengthened my passion for the sports industry and gave me invaluable insight into the planning and execution of a world-class championship.”

Keep up the great work George! by @beta_stevens

For this week’s intern spotlight we’ll be catching up with Tommy Kousis. Here’s what Tommy has to say about his summer experience:

“This summer I’ve been interning at Remitly, a fintech company that helps cross-border customers send money home to family in over 170 countries. The team I’m on is looking at how to better serve those same customers with lending products, since many of them are overlooked by mainstream financial institutions.

I’ve worked across almost every stage of an early product, from competitive research and onboarding design to customer journey analytics and valuation, but most of my time has gone into two things. The first was taking the design team’s concepts for a new lending product and turning them into an interactive onboarding prototype. It’s real working code, so you can click through the whole flow from sign-up through identity verification and activation. The second was building the data pipeline for a process mining proof of concept: pulling production data to reconstruct each customer’s journey from their first marketing touch to accepting an offer, then using process mining to map the paths customers actually take and see which ones drive value versus risk.

What’s surprised me most is how much of data work happens before any actual analysis. So much of it comes down to deciding what counts as an ‘engagement,’ agreeing on definitions with teammates so our numbers actually match, and double-checking messy production data. Every conclusion downstream is only as good as the event log underneath it.
I’ve learned a ton about how a fintech product goes from an open question to a working answer, and I’m grateful to be doing it alongside such a supportive team.”

Keep up the great work Tommy! by @beta_stevens

Our next intern spotlight goes Kristian Koroveshi. Here’s what Kristian has to say about his experience so far:

“This summer I’ve been interning on the Operations team at Lincoln Investment, a financial services firm that supports independent financial advisors and their clients across the country.

My main project has been building Lincoln’s first formal Policies & Procedures library, documenting how work actually gets done across 17+ operations teams that had been running largely on institutional knowledge and informal handoffs. That’s meant sitting down with subject-matter experts across the firm, mapping processes end to end for things like asset movement, ACH and IRA distributions, and trading, and turning all of it into standardized protocol documents the firm can maintain and scale.

The part I’ve found most interesting is what shows up between teams. Individually every group executes well, but a lot of the friction, manual rework, and delays happen at the connection points where no one clearly owns the process. Getting to surface those gaps and bring them to leadership taught me that operations is really about ownership and structure, not just execution.

I’ve also been rebuilding the firm’s outgoing transfer requirements from the ground up, verifying paperwork and processing rules directly with dozens of outside firms, and working with a small group of interns on a presentation to firm executives that walks through how the entire business operates, from an advisor’s first client contact through full onboarding. Outside of my day-to-day work, I’m currently preparing for the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam on August 13th, an important step toward building a career in financial services.

This internship has given me a real understanding of how a financial firm runs behind the scenes and reinforced how much I want to keep building a career in finance. Grateful to be learning from such an experienced team.”

Keep up the great work Kristian! by @beta_stevens
