Next sunday, on the 2nd of November, we'll play a show in honor of the birthday of our hometown Enschede. The city will turn 700 years old, and together with 20 other acts, we'll play a total of 700 minutes of music at @m_metropool to celebrate it. Enschede plays a key role in shaping our philosophy and vision. With its bleak buildings, innovative attitude and warm citizens, the city constantly offers us new inspiration, and the fertile cultural landscape helps us to execute our ideas. Enough reason to celebrate this godforsaken town <3 We'll be playing at 21:45 on the Saxion Stage. It's free, so make sure to swing by! 📸 @echtnietsam See you then. Beter Leven ⭐️ by @beterlevenband

Goblin World was made possible by a lovely community of people who helped us out. However, the party wouldn't have been what it was if it wasn't for the financial support of @amartefonds and @poppuntoverijssel. Their subsidies allowed us to think bigger than we would have dared for Goblin World, and made sure we could offer the other bands a more fair pay. We're big advocates for fair pay for musicians. Unfortunately within our genre, fair pay is usually the exception and not the rule. We used most of the fundings we received to increase the fees for the other bands and to pay our personnel. One very last thing about Goblin World (at least, for this year?!): there are still some screenprint-posters left for sale, see the second slide. If you want to support us and our vision, shoot us a DM and we'll try to arrange something for you. Limited stock! We'll be in touch soon to promote a new show. Until then, Good luck ⭐️ by @beterlevenband

Goblin World happened a week ago, and we couldn't be more grateful for how things turned out: lovely people, great atmosphere, loud music. We had a blast! Big thanks once again to @lornelornelorne and @helenjewettband for blasting their sounds through the walls of @blackbrick.underground Also the biggest of love to Justin, Jesse, Gijs, Seth, Izabele, Ana, Nefeli, Cali, Xi, Merel, Samuël and the people at Black Brick for helping us to make our grand ideas into a reality. We also really appreciate @tankstati0n and @sickhouse.nl for lending us their technical gear. And ofcourse thanks to everyone who showed up and raised the energy through the roof! Goblin World wouldn't be what it was, if it wasn't for all of you. Stay tuned for more. 📸 @ilseklmn With love, as always <3 Beter Leven ⭐️ by @beterlevenband

The second addition to the Goblin World line-up is @helenjewettband from Zwolle. Their shoegazey post-punk invokes existential and nostalgic feelings that are best to experience for yourself. Be prepared to dream and to self-reflect, all while dancing like you've never done before. The trio is currently busy with Popronde, where they're selected as OOR- and Never Mind the Hype-talents. Their album "Astrolabium" blew us away, and we're so stoked to have them play these songs - among others - for you all. 11th of October 20:00 at @blackbrick.underground Tickets at the door only. We'll see you there! Good luck, Beter Leven ⭐️ by @beterlevenband

We're very excited to announce @lornelornelorne as the opening act of Goblin World. This six-piece band from Rotterdam has us mesmerized by the melancholic post-rock sound they deliver, and we're curious to see how their show will transform the atmosphere within Black Brick's concrete walls. We can tell you what to expect from L'orne (plenty of drama and dynamics packed in emotional compositions), but it'd be more efficient if you'd listen to their album "and I fell asleep forever" on your favorite music platform and to see for yourself. 11th of October 20:00 at @blackbrick.underground Tickets at the door only. We'll see you there! Good luck, Beter Leven ⭐️ by @beterlevenband
