My autumn to be watched list 📺🍿🎬

I’m trying to romanticise this autumn/winter and one thing I have done is create a list of movies I’d like to watch!

🎞️ Corpse bride
🎞️ Halloween (the OG)
🎞️ Harry Potter (i will probably watch these at least 10 times)
🎞️ Coraline
🎞️ Black phone
🎞️ Verity (when it comes out)
🎞️ When Harry met Sally
🎞️ The nightmare before Christmas

One thing I enjoy about darker evenings/rainy days is the excuse to stick on a film. I’m such a movie person and my list of rewatches and new films is never ending!

Ways I’m breaking up with my phone aka getting my life back 🧚🏼‍♀️

One thing I want to prioritise for the rest of this year is putting my phone down and investing my time in more fulfilling activities.

Here are five things I’m going to be doing to avoid doomscrolling:
🌟 cosy nights reading
🌟 soup making
🌟 colouring
🌟 kindle walks
🌟 pumpkin painting by @beth.booksss

Did someone say Threshing Day unboxing?? 🐉

The second I knew this novella was coming out, it was instantly one of my most anticipated books of the year and now it’s finally here!! There’s just so much to say.

Firstly, how STUNNING is the artwork inside the book, I was quite literally gobsmacked as you could see.

Secondly, give me all the povs right now!

It’s no surprise that i will be reaching for this the second I finish my current read 🙂‍↕️

Quarter 3 reading wrap up 📚✨🧺

Guess who was in a reading slump… againnnn 🥲 me.

So over the past 3 months I managed to read 7 books (better than none) but I was struggling! I went on and off trying to finish Queen of shadows and I decided to stop forcing myself to read the throne of glass series. Unfortunately for me, it’s just not a series I’m interested in reading, I loved the first book, but the more I read, the more of a slog it felt (unpopular, I know!)

That being said, I have read some amazing books - special shout out to @lisajewelluk ‘It could have been her’ for saving me from said book slump!!! 🫶🏼

Now that we are officially in the autumnal months, it’s time to make a dent in my thrilling tbr and I’m sooo excited 🤭 I have a could of books on my radar that I really want to read before the end of the year (how scary to already be saying that?!)

These next few months I have some life changes happening, which are incredibly exciting, but I am hoping that it won’t affect me reading too much. I mean, it surely can’t get worse than September… right?

💭 Let me know in the comments what your favourite read of the year so far has been by @beth.booksss

(de)influence my autumn tbr 🍂☕️

I actually think my autumn is going to be consumed by Sarah J Maas since I have:
- Empire or storms and Tower of Dawn (is the tandem worth it??)
- Kingdom of Ash
- The whole Crescent City series
To read before ACOTAR 6 comes out… so if I manage to read any other books I will be impressed! by @beth.booksss
