This 10-minute mystery-drama #shortfilm explores how a fractured family unit navigates loss, using #experimental storytelling and surrealism to meditate on water as a metaphor for transition and the overwhelming emptiness of the British rustic landscape. Your support will enable us to collaborate on this new project - and to design a production environment that is collaborative and inclusive. We have already secured a small amount of funding from the School of Creative & Cultural Industries. We are seeking contributions (no matter how small) via #crowdfunder to help us get this project off the ground. Please share with your friends and creative networks. All contributors will be thanked in the credits and invited to a preview screening of the finished film, held in London. Back in June 2025, we took over the @photobookcafe for an evening of tape loops, experimental video, and a special performance from @seamingto. The event marked the launch of the London Experimental Photo Book, which featured text and images from the 2025 artist film collection. ❤️ by @beth.privitera

It’s been nearly two weeks since our experimental film & music event took place at La Péniche Cinema in North Paris. The goal of the event was to elevate the modern silent film screening experience, bringing together a fusion of contemporary and archive short films with live improvised jazz music❤️ This was a very special and personal adventure for me, as the connection between music and film has always been a fundamental part of my fabric. To bring these two energies together in the public realm felt very extraordinary. Thank you to my co-curators Mihnea and Valentin, Antoine Karacostas and his band, all of the filmmakers we collaborated with, and everyone who turned up to support❤️ by @beth.privitera
