A beautiful box of 40wt polyester embroidery thread for sewing, quilting, and other textile arts arrived in my studio from @creativewithliuhg and I can't wait to begin testing it!

Over the next few weeks, I'll be trying this 40wt polyester thread for decorative stitching, machine applique, thread painting, and machine quilting (both walking foot quilting and free motion quilting) on my home sewing machine. I'll be sure to share what I learn along the way.

We've adopted another rescue kitty! He officially belongs to Jack, but I can already see that Luke is going to be hanging out with me, too - he already figured out how to perch up on top of the "to be quilted" rack - something none of the other kitties have figured out (yet). 🐈‍⬛️🐾🥰❤️
