Officially completed my PGCE in Secondary Art yesterday! ✨Had an amazing year with my fellow trainee teachers so wanted to mark the occasion with some small, subject specific glassy gifts for them. We’ve got scientists, historians, computer scientists and artists 🩷 @teachdysguuwtsd by @bethanyatesglass

‘Haenau ar Haenau’ 2026

Thought we’d go for a different angle of this newest piece of work. Loved experimenting with changing the order of these pieces and adjusting the angles or directions they sit in. by @bethanyatesglass

‘Haenau ar Haenau’ - layers upon layers 💛🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Some finished images of the lost wax casting I’ve been working on over the past few weeks.

Continuation of my cast glass work inspired by traditional Welsh quilt work, Welsh women’s craftsmanship, domestic labour and slow making.

(Thanks @staceypoultney and @glass_swansea_college_of_art for letting me use the coldworking facilities!! 🥰) taken in Aberaeron, Ceredigion by @bethanyatesglass

Excited to have had the opportunity to donate this custom stained glass roundel to the Lord Mayor’s Big Curry Lunch in support of the Army Benevolent Fund ✨
The winning bidder asked for a piece that celebrated her amazing achievement of completing the Original Triple Crown of open-water swimming: the North Channel, the English Channel, and the Bristol Channel.
Every section of the roundel represents a different swim and contains details unique to her journey. It’s been etched, fire-polished, hand-painted, silver-stained and traditionally leaded 💙🌊
