I’d usually take a day or two but today, I want to experience/express and enjoy my excitement in real time. I’m giving myself exactly 1 hour before I do anything stressful again lmao

A not so glamorous morning. Started my day at 5 am but different than normal because today was Day 1 with my PT as I embark on yet another lifestyle reset 😅 my muscles are sore, I’m looking crusty AF , it’s a day after shipping Monday - my tired is tired and well, hello Forbes Class of 2023.

I guess this is about us, like as individuals but I still feel like it’s very much an Adùn moment. This whole thing literally wouldn’t have come this far without the love, support and community that backs us day after day. From when it was still AllIDoIsCook till right now, y’all are tight, not gonna lie. So, thank you. 💕 I’m excited that this is one small way we get to show up as our authentic selves, representing and highlighting what we love - Food from our country, Nigeria and making it accessible for all to enjoy. And it won’t end there. There’s an entire continent y’all but tiny drops definitely make an ocean and we’re coming, so help us God. 🌊

I wasn’t expecting the list to be out until like Dec 1, honestly so that’s all I’m going to say for now. Maybe tomorrow I will have something more profound🤷🏽‍♀️

I’ll sha end with this - thank you God, thank you family, thank you Team Adùn.

TGIF 🥳 | Actively choosing Joy in the face of... everything else. I’m thankful to God for so much. I’m most especially thankful for the peace that comes with knowing God’s got me and mine in every season. That no matter what, there’s so much love surrounding us. I’m confident in the fact that I will always feel safe here. That’s more than enough for me.

The Terrace🦩🌴 | crashed Tobi & Seun’s bro date for the yummiest happy hour drinks & bites at @theterracelagos. Really love this space and all the vibes were right!!! The platter was too good, talk about a burst of flavors!!!
Also the drinks!!! Where there’s beautifully crafted cocktails and mocktails, count me in! They were really in the lab with those drinks! Definitely will be back there.👌🏾 by @bethanyhadiza

July ‘26 | HOU to EWR to LOS and of course, all the delightful people and events/activities in between. Started with family, ended with family.
Bonus exciting thing: Ire went to the movies for the first time and wow, we’re so encouraged to keep going. He was so well behaved like a seasoned movie goer! We went to see “Call of my Life” the day it premiered in our city.

Mako 🍕| Apparently, my tourist story would not have been complete without a pizza from here. Only a few years late but I’m glad to report that it didn’t disappoint! Abula Night | so glad we were able to make it to @oremidinners for the most fantastic Abula I’ve had in agessss! Omg. The idea is that you get to enjoy as many bowls of Abula as you can handle. Zero judgment loool. I only managed 1 but I completely understand why anyone would want to keep going. The smoothest, silkiest amala. The tastiest stew with the most tender pieces of meat(beef, ponmo & shaki), the ewedu and gbegiri, I can’t even begin!!! 🔥 I don’t know when next I’m going to experience this QUALITY of abula again and I’m not okay. 😩 even Ire couldn’t resist. Mind you, I haven’t even started talking about the cocktails (+mocktail) and dessert! See, anywhere you bump into @imoteda , squeeze dollars in her hand! She absolutely knows wtf she’s up to! by @bethanyhadiza

From the first day we moved in, my wife knew she wanted to swap out the hardware in the kitchen. A few hours of searching and she found the cutest antique brass hardware to give the space a new look/vibe.
