Cool girls..don’t buy every trending product.
Build a kit around your signature glam with products that really work for you

Cool girls..keep track of their spending.
Keep basic financial records so you know exactly where you are financially at any point in the year and what you can afford to invest in your career

Cool girls..don’t include unnecessary steps.
Not all clients need setting with powder all over, not everyone wants eyeshadow, some glams look better with just mascara. Trust your own judgement

Cool girls..don’t burn themselves out.
You are allowed to raise your prices so you can afford to live without working 7 days a week!

Cool girls..don’t undercut the competition.
Competing with other artists by undercutting them harms everyone in the long run, including you

Cool girls..build supportive industry friendships.
Nobody can do this alone, you need people who get it, who you can rant to, who’ll pick you up when you’re doubting yourself and who’ll champion your success like their own by @bethanyleah_mua
