To the women who dare to dream, who push through doubt, who rise after every setback—you inspire me every single day.

I used to believe I wasn’t enough. That I had to prove my worth through titles, achievements, and validation from others. But I’ve learned that true strength isn’t in the titles we hold; it’s in the purpose we walk in, the resilience we build, and the way we show up for ourselves and others.

Today, I celebrate the women who are rewriting their stories, embracing their worth, and stepping into their God-given purpose. The ones who lift as they climb, who refuse to shrink, and who choose courage over comfort.

You are seen. You are capable. You are enough.

Before I ever became a publisher… I was a wife, a mom, and a woman who cared deeply about belonging.

I know what it’s like to move to a new city (many new cities) and wonder where you fit. I know the power of walking into a local business and feeling seen. I know what it means to want your voice—and your story—to matter.

And that’s why this magazine is so personal.

It’s not about glossy pages. It’s about the people behind the storefronts. The stories behind the smiles. The way this community shows up for one another.

This is my why.
I want my son to grow up seeing what it looks like to build something meaningful. I want families to feel connected. I want businesses big and small, to feel supported. I want South Tampa to know it’s more than a zip code—it’s a community worth celebrating.

South Tampa City Lifestyle is an invitation. To collaborate. To be seen. To belong.

Nearly 17 years ago I got the call that would change my life forever. My mom had suffered a stroke and was in a coma. She would not recover. I couldn’t imagine this life without her. A few short years ago I began to share her story and I began to find real healing. It was hard, but I knew I had to do it in order to one day help save someone’s life. Little did I know… Just a few short weeks ago I shared her story with my counselor and these are the text messages I received the next morning. I hope to create a space where people feel safe sharing their own stories. I had no idea that my own story could have this much impact. I pray that you find a reason to say yes to big scary things. You never know whose life you could change! by @bethanynorman_

Not sure what I did right in this life to deserve this guy, but he’s been my ride or die since day one. 💜 We’ve fought hard to get to this place, learning how to grow together and support one another in our ideas, passions and purpose.

He doesn’t like the spotlight, but I can’t help but share how thankful I am for him.

There’s something special about women who genuinely want to see other women win. ❤️

Last night, I had the opportunity to celebrate the official launch of @wellesociety at the Tampa Club, and what a beautiful evening it was!

From the gorgeous fall florals and personalized touches to the incredible dinner, @madisonrahman_ and her team thought of everything.

But what I appreciate most is Madison’s heart behind what she is building. Her desire is to bring women together from a place of genuine care, encouragement, and support. Not competition. Not comparison. Just women showing up for one another and building meaningful relationships.

And THAT is something I can get behind!

Sometimes I have to stop and remind myself… we really built this. 💜

As we get ready to close out another month, I am beyond grateful for the community we have built—and that continues to show up in support of this vision that sometimes feels way BIGGER than me.

The last nearly 8 months have been pure magic.

Have there been tears? Absolutely! 😂
Have there been “No’s” and “Not yets”? More than I can count.

But then there are moments like this that remind me exactly why the hard work, the long days, and continuing to push beyond every “No” and “Not yet” are so worth it.

This community. These relationships. What we are building together.
