Happy Baptismal Feast to our godsons, Solomon Dennis and August Willard Willink! I can hardly believe one whole year has gone by since this precious day!

It has been truly one of our greatest joys to love and pray for Augie and Solly this year. They are the sweetest boys - both so smiley and playful, adventurous, and loving to their big brother Seb, all their sweet cousins, and everyone who loves them.

The blessing of being their godparents is not one we take for granted or take lightly. To pray for their lives with Jesus is such a gift. Thank you Bethany and TJ for this gift you’ve given us, and for the generosity of your families to allow us to be part of their lives (and Sebby’s!) in this way. We love you all! God bless Augie and Solly!

Keep finding ways to love life • HiGHLY recommend doing this with your friends! :)

40th Bday for me!!! My friends planned me a boat trip but with a horrible storm coming through it got cancelled… I decided to make them all do something I’ve always wanted to try :)

So much laughter! Thanks to all who made me feel so loved!

We decided Thursday night needed a little Christmas magic ✨

Life has been heavy for our family lately, and maybe that’s exactly why we needed this night… So my sis showed up with presents and a slide for the pool, we turned their backyard into the most ridiculous August Christmas and decided that a random Thursday deserved to feel like something special.

And watching their faces… the laughter, the excitement, the chaos, the sliding into the pool dressed like Santa… it reminded me of something I don’t want to forget:
We don’t have to wait for the perfect season of life to make beautiful memories.

Sometimes you make the magic right in the middle of the hard stuff.
Sometimes you put Christmas lights around a pool in August.
Sometimes you wrap presents for absolutely no reason.
Sometimes you turn an ordinary Thursday into a night your kids will talk about for years.
And sometimes joy isn’t about pretending the hard things aren’t there… it’s about being grateful that even in the middle of them, there is still SO much good.

Tonight, I’m grateful for family who helps create the magic.
Grateful for kids who still believe in magic.
Grateful for laughter.
Grateful for an August Christmas.
And grateful that we get to choose a little joy… even on a random Thursday eve

I remember questioning God when I found out we were having twins…”how is this a good idea?” “How am I going to be able to do this?” If only past Bethany could see life now. Is it hard? Yes. Am I tired all the time? Yes. Is the house messier? Yes. But oh the JOY that floods this house…The laughter that bounces off the walls…the tender moments that are shared at bedtime…and the pride that beams from my heart every time they learn a new thing. God knew exactly what we needed when He gave us these two boys!
