A little late, but I celebrated turning 32 and 7 years of living in Nash over the last few weeks. To be honest, I’m struggling a bit with what my life should look like right now and feeling purposeless, but I always come back to being thankful for my little home, good books and better friends, favorite tv shows coming back, and the thrill of a perfect thrift score. I may not be where I want to be at the moment, but there’s always a little good to be found anyway. by @bethanywouters

I normally find so many good things that I just don’t need or don’t have space for, but I wanted to show y’all how thrifting really is a treasure hunt! And the Sound of Music plates at the end? If I knew I had a place for them, I would’ve taken them home 💔

We’re not gonna talk about the stray bang hairs on my forehead, I was sweating like a sinner in church

Proof of life dump. Been living in my lil home for a year now and have loved getting to make it my own. Lots of books (duh), good bread from friends, and being brave by going new places, meeting new people, and sharing thoughts when I want to stay home and be quiet.

This summer has also looked so different than last because I’ve not really been sick this year, hallelujah, thank you Jesus. by @bethanywouters

Happy pub day to this sweet and cozy fantasy!

Iris, a middle child, wants to be a villain (but isn’t really good at being evil) and resurrects Talon, an orc who shows up dead in her yard, to fulfill her dreams of being wicked. Instead, what ensues is familial reconciliation, lots of baking, and a journey of learning to accept yourself as you are. Also, there’s a cute hedgehog who steals the show 💛 if you’re a fan of Legends and Lattes, Sarah Beth Durst’s books, and low-stakes but endearing stories, Death Meets Cute is perfect for you.

Thank you, Poisoned Pen Press and J. Penner for my first physical galley! by @bethanywouters

My character variants! This is such a cutie trend, I don’t normally do these but I wanted to try and make my own 💖

Also, I always lol when I take a quiz and I get Mama Coco as the result, but I am a grandma at heart, so it’s accurate! by @bethanywouters

Me 🤝🏻 taking pictures of my books

I don’t post much on Instagram anymore, and when I do it’s mainly what I’m reading or how many books I’ve found secondhand, so here’s a lil carousel of both 💛 taken in Nashville, Tennessee by @bethanywouters

I find my favorite stories are ones centered on loss and grief, even from my earliest memories, and I haven’t stopped thinking about This Book Made Me Think of You since I read it last month. Despite the main plot line of Tilly being on a journey after losing her husband, this isn’t a sad-all-the-time book; there is a lot of joy to still be found between its pages.

I love reading and I love this book! taken in Tennessee by @bethanywouters

My P&P vinyl finally came in the mail 🫶🏻 being in my own little apartment for the last six months has been mostly me receiving a lot of free furniture and things from friends and spending more time in the home goods sections of thrift stores than the clothes. It’s not perfect yet but I’m happy with how my home is coming along! by @bethanywouters
