I was in a bit of an odd spot, but got to watch this female broad-tailed hummingbird enjoy some of my flowers 💜 by @bethatthestorykeep

Let's pretend the smoke is really a romantic mist, and THEN you can properly appreciate this picture. These lovelies posed beautifully for me on the side of M28 tonight. @amyharbach inspired me to try to get more pictures of birds. This is just with my phone but I was pretty excited. I've been trying to get pictures of sandhill cranes for years. 💜 by @bethatthestorykeep

Feeling a little annoyed with my “orange and jobless” cat this morning. Woke up to find my new knitting project in a giant snarl. Apparently it put up quite a fight. by @bethatthestorykeep

I finally changed my IG username now that I haven’t been homeschooling for over a year. The Story Keep is the name of my library of living books, soon to be open for lending. Not gonna lie, it’s been hard to figure out this post-homeschool life. But! See those books with hot pink labels? I’m slowly working through the books I’ve cataloged, getting them labeled, barcoded, and fully ready to lend. Anyone local want to come help? 😬 #livingbooks #livingbookslibrary #savethebooks #charlottemason #homeschool by @bethatthestorykeep

My new friends from @magical_madisons_rocks are FINALLY here! They made a long journey across the pond, and then the postal service was holding our vacation mail hostage, but they’re home now. 🩷🩷🩷 by @bethatthestorykeep
