WHY do we require a second day of wedding stylist/dresser when a party has 5 or more bridesmaids?

Because for us it is not just about the fashion… I know that may sound strange coming from a fashion stylist.

For us, it is all about our clients being present and enjoying every moment of their day. We take care of the fashion so that this is possible.

With 5 or more maids, we have one dresser dedicated solely to the bride - to steam her gown and veil , prepare her accessories, to help her to dress, to style her portraits, and to make sure her needs are met.

The second dresser does the same for the maids. They also can apply double sided or boob tape, can apply moleskin or anti rub lotion to feet, can cut out hanger straps, sew last minute fabric tears or strap adjustments, and tie bow ties.

If we did not have a dedicated stylist to do this, it would take time away from the bride.

It would take time away from her special moments and her memories.

We are there to facilitate those memories and moments BECAUSE the fashion is flawless. Because we are putting time into making it so, so that the focus can be on the day and letting it unfold as it should … flawlessly.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “Beth — Just wanted to send a quick note of thanks to your team for this weekend. Shana and Callan saved the day on several occasions - from sewing my mom into her dress, to holding my dress out of the rain, and giving bridesmaid dresses a second round of steaming at the venue, they were so invaluable and helped our day run so smoothly and seamlessly, we truly could not have done it without them!

We thought that enlisting your team was going to be helpful but we had no idea just how helpful, they made this so stress-free for us and we could not be more grateful!!” - Jenna

What’s the difference between a bridal stylist and a bridal dresser?

This is a question I get all the time!

A bridal stylist assists clients in selecting their wedding wardrobe. They often shop with their clients, help to curate their look and attend their fittings to ensure a perfect fit.

A bridal dresser is present on the wedding day/weekend to ensure that the garments are all steamed and pressed. They assist the couple and bridal party in dressing, styling the portraits, bustling the gown, and taking care of fashion emergencies.
In our case, our dressers attend our client’s third and final fittings.

Bridal stylists may also provide dressing services and dressing service can also be provided when fashion selection did not take place.

At our recent Lanai wedding I had the very unique opportunity to work with colleagues who also provide styling and dressing services through their companies.

For K & L’s wedding, @carrielauren and @lexfordays curated the exceptional wedding wardrobe for the wedding weekend and events leading up to it.

@theweddingdetailor provided on site alterations.

And myself and @laurenboylestyles provided dressing services for K & L, their party and family.

It was truly a dream team! Some may question how it was to work with those whose services and companies overlap....

the answer… it was amazing !

Each of us showcased our unique talents and came together to create magic ! 💫

It’s that time again ! 🗽 NYBFW is upon us ! I’m headed to NYC to see the Fall 2027 bridal collections grace the runways.

As always, I’ll be wearing both my stylist hat, for my styling clients , and my buyer hat for our @thewhitedress brides.

Stay tuned to see the latest bridal fashion trends as they unfold.

A little romance, a little drama, and a whole lot of bridal magic.

Our beautiful MZ bride Kathleen wore the NESSIA gown for her special day — a sweetheart strapless A-line silhouette featuring a delicate lace base and softly scattered florals that bring texture, dimension, and effortless romance.

To make the look entirely her own, Kathleen paired NESSIA with a flowing cape and matching lace topper, creating a beautiful layered bridal moment that felt both timeless and fashion-forward.

From the intricate floral details to the dreamy movement of the cape, every element came together so effortlessly.

A bridal look we’ll be thinking about for a long time. 🤍

Let’s clear up a common misconception when it comes to groom styling 👀

Ivory or white shirt when the bride’s gown is ivory ? 🤍
