Come stroll Wicker Park with me—and start seeing your surroundings with an artistic eye.

We’ll gather textures, colors, typography, peeling posters, patterns, and little overlooked details… then turn them into art that actually feels personal to you.

You’ll create:
✨ an urban inspiration board
✨ small composition studies
✨ an art journal page
✨ and a framed wall art piece rooted in what YOU discovered along the way

If you’ve been craving fresh inspiration or wondering where to start… this is for you.

Due to popular demand (and maybe a little force 🤣), Echoes of Summer are now available as prints.
$30 for 8x10
$50 for 11x14

They are printed on giclee fine art paper with a watercolor finish — it means these things look like the actual paintings. You can see the texture.

I have some if you’re in the IL area.
@authenticarts_gallery has some if you’re in the SE MO area. And we can both ship.

I am estimating around $15 shipping cost. But can confirm with you upon address.

I also have quite a few Summer in Greece prints (and so does Ashley) if you want to get more bang for your buck. THESE WILL MAKE AWESOME CHRISTMAS GIFTS!!!! by @bethchienart

Like the ocean, my energy and creativity comes in waves. I’m riding high right now, creating and filming, collaborating…. the ideas are churning and I don’t have enough hours in the day.

But it feels good. I took a slower pace this summer and that was much needed. Now it’s time to light that 🔥 and hit some deadlines.
I have FOUR big things planned for you over the next 4 months! And another Studio Mini or 2 will be coming your way, as well!
Here are a few BTS.

I am seriously excited about this project I am creating for you! I have been filming all week.

Curious how I take my adventures and turn them into mixed-media paintings? That’s where we are heading, folks! And no... you don’t have to be a jet-setter or have a vacation in the books. Just a place that you loved, a place where you took a bunch of pictures. A day out. A girls’ weekend trip. A vacation from 2 years ago. We will get started right away in the studio by getting all the inspiration you already have on your phone.

Get ready to learn my process, from building YOUR personal library of marks, colors, shapes, and textures to binding a Street Journal and then finished with a painting for your wall.

Want early access and special BTS? Comment below and I’ll add you to the early access list. Or watch for tomorrow morning’s newsletter and click the button there. by @bethchienart

This is what a summer at the lake looks like through my artistic eye. 💙 ➡️

@anglca_may

Time at my cousin’s lake house became the inspiration for “Echoes of Summer,” a painting I created for her.

I let those colors and little observations guide me as I painted. Layer by layer, it became something of its own.

Even the colors of their boat found its way into the painting.

And next year, I’m working on a way to help you turn your own adventures into personal paintings, too. 😉
